CHAMBER AWARDS SCHOLARSHIPS

    Palmyra-Eagle High School Class of 2011 students Kevin McGivern, Caitlyn Gerlach and BJ Peardon were the recipients of the Palmyra Chamber of Commerce $250 scholarships. 

    BJ Peardon will be attending UM Green Bay to study Accounting.  “I would like to thank the Chamber for this scholarship money. I will be putting it toward the supplies I need, including books.”

   Caitlyn Gerlach will be attending UW Platteville to Major in Animal Science.  Her future goals are to become a large animal vet, and have a farm near Palmyra after her schooling is complete.  “I’d like to thank the Chamber of Commerce so much for my scholarship.  This will help me with my future plans and schooling very much. Thank you.”

    “I would like to start off by thanking the Chamber for the scholarship.  It is a great honor to be awarded this scholarship,” said Kevin McGivern.  “This money will help me greatly when I take my studies to the University of Wisconsin Platteville  McGivern will be studying in the field of  Education.  He wants to become either a history or math teacher at the high school level. McGivern also wants to coach when he gets to college.
